Windows 7 or 8 Taskbar Flashing

Here is how to control the flashing count on a Windows 7, Windows 8 taskbar. Use REGEDIT on the following key

HKey_Current User\Control Panel\Desktop\ForegroundFlashCount

The highest value is 4,294,967,295 which would take over 136 years to stop flashing.

If you want the window to open, you can set this value

HKey_Current_User\Control Panel\Desktop\ForegroundLockTimeOut
